Ancient Rome Necklace
Silver, Roman bronzes and ancient coins.
The small “treasure trove” of ex-voto bronze statues and coins, all from the Roman era, were originally housed in an important German Wunderkammer. They inspired us to create a necklace that would enhance the artefacts, exhibiting them together in an antique-style setting.
The juxtaposition between the bronzobianco alloy that we created and the ancient bronze, rich in the beautiful original tactile patina, forms a jewellery piece with a strong personality. It is an artefact that transcends the centuries and becomes contemporary.
